O-CEI - Pilot for Iot Platforms and Decentralised Intelligence
This session will present the concept of blueprints according to O-CEI development process.
First, it will highlight how the main outcomes of O-CEI inter-relate (blueprints, marketplace, platform)
to form the open ecosystem for the Cloud-Edge-IoT which is focusing on energy flexibility challenges.
Later, two blueprints (in their conceptual version) will be presented, digging deep into how those are defined,
and which is their underlying purpose. Departing from those examples, the speaker will describe the rollout process,
through which a descriptive bueprint becomes a deployed product in a specific pilot case.
Finally, the platform of O-CEI will be outlined, explaining the building blocks and the various inner modules being developed
in the project, as well as their role in the pilots of this Innovation Action.
This session will present the software utilities that will be part of O-CEI blueprint products. O-CEI is a large consortium that includes more than 20 technology-providers in the field of Cloud-Edge-IoT, ranging from reputable Universities (e.g., UPV, UPRC, HES·SO...) to consolidated industrial partners (e.g., TID, INTEL, NEC...) up to innovative SMEs. All technological partners of the project convey a series of software / hardware solutions that will, whenever needed, be customized and integrated as layout elements of a blueprint product. This session willl delve into such utilities, explaining their nature and cataloguing.
An explanation (in a nutshell) of all 8 O-CEI pilots will take pace in this sub-session.
This presentation will revolve around O-CEI's Open Source strategy including, among others: (i) repository handling, (ii) marketplace visibility y accessibility, (iii) pricing models, (iv) collaboration with other initiatives of the community, (v) long-term roadmap.
12:45 to 13:00 POSTER SESSION
Sectoral and Business Value Chain in V2G
As the automotive industry shifts toward software-defined vehicles and vehicle-to-grid integration, new opportunities arise at the intersection of digital transformation, energy transition, and user experience. This session explores how SDV architecture, connectivity standards, and energy ecosystems are redefining vehicle intelligence, business models, and infrastructure. Together, we will examine the challenges and opportunities of business uptake, policy drivers, interoperability and more! —and uncover how collaboration between industry leaders, researcher, service providers and users can accelerate a smarter, cleaner mobility future.
Tanya Suarez, Founder & CEO, BLUSPECS
A focused exploration of the integration points and stakeholders across the V2X value chain, examining how different domains collaborate to advance connected mobility.
An in-depth look at how SDVs are enabling V2G interactions with various stakeholders, showcasing advancing edge technologies and practical integration within the mobility ecosystem.

Blueprints Paving the Road Towards Harmonised Standards and Architectures
11:45
Spanning both the energy and automotive sectors, realising the full potential will require close collaboration both within the industry as well as with policymakers. The session will emphasise the need for a harmonised, interoperable, and scalable charging infrastructure that closes the policy and standardisation gap across the mobility and energy sector.. As the global transition to electric vehicles (EVs) accelerates, the need for a harmonised, interoperable, and scalable charging infrastructure has never been more urgent. At the heart of a common interface lie blueprints—as a strategic frameworks that guide the development of common standards and architectures across the existing ecosystem such as mobility, home/buildings and energy. The session displays the position of different industrial groups and reflects on recent work of different expert groups like the Smart Energy Expert Group, the Sustainable Transport Forum and the Coalition of the Willing for Bidirectional Charging.

Real-world implementation challenges and workarounds of ongoing V2G projects
15:00
The V2X cluster represents a collective of 8 European projects and more than 80 M€ in European funding dedicated to advancing bidirectional EV charging. Altogether, the cluster projects are testing V2X solutions and services in demo sites spread across 20 European countries, covering dozens of smart charging use cases in public spaces, buildings, and homes. This session will firstly introduce the V2X cluster and the projects that compose it, as well as its collaborative activities towards advancement of high priority V2X topics. A moderated and topical roundtable discussion will follow, aimed at sharing testimonials on the implementation experiences of the cluster projects EV4EU, SCALE, DriVe2X, FLOW, AHEAD, and XL-Connect. Specifically, real-world challenges related to OEM compatibility, interoperability, standardization, use case replicability and harmonization, data quality, privacy, and communications, cyber-security, business cases, scalability, regulatory and market framing, and stakeholder acceptance. Lastly, more than just addressing these challenges, the discussion will bring up success stories and positive advancements, frame it in an historical context, and attempt to advance a way forward.
